We purchased a new property in in December 2019 from Castle Rock Homes as part of phase 2 in Blossom Hill, Midleton. We are so happy with how our house turned out – it is exactly what we were hoping for and more, everything was finished to the highest standard. Prior to the start of the build we had heard of all the challenges building a new home brings, however we had just the opposite experience. From our first meeting with Mary to the day of closing, the team at Castlerock were a pleasure to deal with and it is clear that they live up to the high targets they set for themselves. Throughout every step of the process Mary was in frequent communication with us keeping us updated on progress as well as preparing us for the next step in the process so things moved along seamlessly.

Having decided to move in from the countryside in 2019 , it became apparent to us from the onset that the quality of house , available at Dromkeen far exceeded those we had looked at not only at Innishannon but in various areas. From the onset a straight talking Mark Kelly was always available , not at all pushy and indeed helpful in everyway. Having decided on the house type and the specific property (No.17) , the real work began . Given the wide range of choices available in relation to , fit out , the input of Mary Kelly , cannot be understated . Mary made every possibility possible , it was truly reassuring to know that when it was scheduled it was done .We truly were in safe hands. During the build we engaged with several of the building staff most noticeably Timmy McCarthy foreman who couldn’t assist more in achieving perfection, and allowed us access as and when we needed , with Mary ensuring hard hats and hi viz , always donned. When it came to taking possession Tim Murray could not be more flexible and accommodating , always available even out of hours to iron out the glitches that can occur. In October 2019 we moved into 17 Dromkeen view, to a property which was finished to a high spec and handed to us in a meticulous condition , with nothing to do only literally plug in the kettle. Castlerock Homes, all of the team, made our journey not only stress free but a very happy one, resulting in us enjoying a house built and fitted out to a standard which we feel cannot ever be surpassed.
I recently purchased a house in Dromkeen View, Innishannon, and found that Castlerockhomes were wonderful to deal with. The developers Tim Murray and John Daly were so accommodating. They facilitated changes I wanted to make, and went above and beyond to complete all adjustments to a very high specification. They were completely involved at every point of the process and ensured everything was finished to their exceptionally high standards. I was particularly delighted with the finish of the sliding doors that I had requested. Tim and his team took it upon themselves to add an extra trim that gave the doors a very polished and contemporary look. My house has a superb finish both inside and out and I have received many complements on the high ceilings, wide entrance hallway and other non-standard finishes since moving in. Everyone was so easy and professional to deal with. From Mark Kelly – auctioneer, to Mary Kelly, the site liaison officer, who was wonderful. She answered any query I had usually within minutes and dealt with any requests/changes in a timely and efficient manner. Everyone I have encountered on site was extremely friendly and have helped me with numerous tasks before and indeed since, I have moved in. I believe that Tim, Mary and all of the team made the whole process of purchasing and moving into my first new home a seamless, almost effortless experience.
I wish to confirm that Tim Murray and his company, Castlerock Homes are engaged to deliver a housing scheme of forty houses in Green Valley, Castletreasure, Douglas. To date the council have taken possession of the first phase of twelve houses and are due to take possession of the second phase of sixteen units in January 2017. To date the council have been extremely impressed with the performance of Castlerock Homes. All construction works are being undertaken in a highly efficient manner and to an extremely high standard of quality. Cork County Council would have no problem in recommending this builder.
I was recently involved in the purchase of an apartment at Copper Hill in the Broomfield Estate.
The apartment was being completed by the builder Mr Tim Murray. It became apparent from the first meeting that the work was being done to a high standard with no expense being spared on the quality of materials. Even though certain items were not specified such as sound absorbing material fitted under the floor tiles, double switching of lights etc all was being done. Mr Murray went through the lay out and customised as our requirements. This gave us complete confidence during the build process to the standard and quality of fit out. On completion it was as we expected finished excellently with attention to detail for example washing out heating system and fitting a magnetic filter (again not specified). As in any new building there will be snags which in this case were few and attended to immediately. The whole process of buying to moving in was made completely stress free by yourself and Mr Murray.

My wife, Laura and I bought a three bed simi in Wheatley Hills, a new build. Tim Murray from Castlerock Homes was the builder. We couldn’t praise him enough. The completion time was agreed and the house was completed on time. We were selling our own house at the time and everything worked perfectly. Tim allowed us to move some furniture in before the sale was completed. Our Engineer compiled a snag list and Tim completed it in a short period of time without difficulty.
The quality of the house and grounds finish was second to none. We moved house many times in the years and this was the best move ever. The area is close to town and also next to the countryside, perfect! We have dealt with many builders through out the years and we always expected to pay over the top for extras. This did not happen with Castlerock Homes. Tim was fair and reasonable.
We purchased a two bedroomed apartment in November 2016 from Castle Rock Homes. It was a seamless process from start to finish. We were delighted with the attention to detail and the high quality finish throughout the apartment.
